Did you something unusual in the skies over the north of the Island last night (Thurs)?
Two walkers on the Ayres say they saw a huge burning ball of flame plummeting towards the earth around the Bride area at around 8pm on Thursday evening.
They're now keen to know if anyone else spotted it - or may know what it might have been.
Local astronomer Howard Parkin says while he wasn't aware of any reports, it was most likely a meteor or piece of space junk burning up.
