Know how to charge and store it properly 

A leading fireman at the Fire and Rescue Service says electric bikes are becoming a growing fire risk. 

Richard Little told Manx Radio people often leave their e-bikes charging overnight or covered which isn't right as it could ignite a fire - adding they've seen an increased number of calls to properties with the bikes. 

He says understanding the correct way to store and charge any electronic is paramount to your and your family's safety:

• Charge after every ride
