One person evacuated through window while cats and dogs receive oxygen
One person had to be evacuated through a first floor window and a number of pets needed oxygen following a flat fire on Peel Road in Douglas.
Fire crews were called out yesterday evening, with the road remaining closed for several hours.
Station officer Matt Tyrer gave this update from the scene:
