Emergency services assist in two seperate incidents in Laxey
The driver of a car which rolled over in Laxey last night was helped by emergency services attending a nearby house fire.
Fire crews were called to a property on the Ballacannell estate, where a fire had started in a first floor bedroom.
The teams were returning to the station when they came across an overturned vehicle on South Cape corner.
An off-duty fire officer who lives nearby was already at the scene, and helped the sole occupant out of the vehicle by peeling back the damaged windscreen.
No other vehicles were involved in the RTC, and the driver was treat by paramedics on the scene for minor injuries.
