Fire crews called to vehicle collision

Reports driver trapped

Fire crews from Ramsey Station were called out last night after receiving reports of a person being trapped following a two-vehicle collision.

The accident happened just below Waterworks corner on the Mountain Road shortly after 7pm (Fri 13)

On arrival, crews administered first aid before helping Isle of Man ambulance colleagues help the driver from the car after precautionary checks.

Crews were at the scene for around 40 minutes.
