Magistrate’s Income Tax Court releases information
Fines totalling £22,940 have been issued to five people and 11 businesses for Income Tax and National Insurance related offences.
Just shy of £19,000 comes from nine corporations for failing to pay Income Tax instalments or Class 1 National Insurance contributions.
Four individuals received penalties totalling £1,300 for not submitting personal Income Tax returns by the due date.
One business received a fine of £1,350 after failing to comply with a notice to submit a return.
Fines of £600 and £750 are also imposed on an individual and business after notices to submit accounts, in support of a tax return were issued, but they failed to comply.
