53-year-old has 'history of dishonesty'
A Port St Mary man has been fined after claiming more than £3,000 in benefits he wasn't entitled to.
Kevin Stephen Quirk, of Gellings Avenue, failed to inform Treasury he was receiving income from a pension.
During sentencing, at Douglas Courthouse, Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood said the 53-year-old had a 'history of dishonesty'.
Quirk was ordered to pay £1,000 in fines and £50 in prosecution costs.
