Showpiece on April 4
Eight finalists will contest the 2018 Young Actor of Mann showpiece.
Emma Bowker, Niamh (pro: Nieve) Murdoch; Elizabeth Shooter, Joseph Long, Roman Trimble, Jack Smollen, Mathilda Whittle and Amy Gravestock made it through the first round of the competition at Ballakermeen High School’s studio theatre yesterday (Sunday).
Competitors aged from 13 to 19 performed contrasting pieces, including from Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw, Les Misérables and Oklahoma.
The final will be held on April the fourth.
