Long operation for emergency services
Emergency services are coming to the end of a long incident at Peel harbour.
A fire on a fishing boat was reported shortly before midnight.
Foam was eventually used to bring the blaze under control.
As well as containing the fire, there has been work to prevent the vessel from sinking at high-tide and dealing with any potential pollution.
West Quay has been closed throughout but is expected to reopen this evening.
Chief Fire Officer Kevin Groom says several organisations have been involved in what has turned out to be a long operation:-
