Final price tag for Liverpool Ferry Terminal 'still not known'

Around £80million spent on new facility

The infrastructure minister says it's hard to say whether the new Liverpool Ferry Terminal represents value for money.

The facility in Merseyside has spent just over a week in operation, but the final price tag still isn't known.

The project began in 2015 with an estimated cost of £18 million - now, that figure stands at close to £80 million.

Minister Tim Crookall and Steam Packet Managing Director Brian Thomson have been questioned on the cost of the project, what's happening with the lease agreement for the Prince's Half-Tide Dock, and if the working relationship between government and the ferry operator remains intact:
