The House of Keys and Legislative Council sit today – for the last time of this political year.
Legislative years means the two chambers will enter their summer recess, and so MHKs and MLCs won’t meet again until September.
There’s plenty up for discussion in the Keys, with eight questions for oral answer, ten for written reply, and three new laws being discussed.
Meanwhile in LegCo, Alex Downie will try to steer the Summary Jurisdiction and Miscellaneous Amendments Bill through its second reading and clauses.
Keys questions include queries about the Louis Group, public sector pensions, and work permits.
David Quirk MHK will quiz Infrastructure Minister David Cretney about plans to install number plate recognition systems at civic amenity sites, and Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw will face questions about new laws governing landlords from North Douglas MHK John Houghton.
You can hear full live coverage of questions in the House of Keys on Manx Radio’s AM1368 frequency – or at manxradio.com – from 10 o’clock this morning.
