Juan Callister will spend 31 minutes in the sea
A man from Kirk Michael who has been braving icy waters throughout January to raise money and awareness for men’s mental health will take on his longest dip this morning (Saturday, 31 January).
Juan Callister has been completing a ‘cold water exposure ladder’ challenge, gradually increasing the time he spends in the sea each day.
Starting on 1 January with just one minute in the water, he has built up to his final dip, which will last 31 minutes.
Juan, who is fundraising for Isle Stand Up to Suicide, is hoping he won’t be the only one taking to the water today:
Juan has undertaken the challenge with professional guidance, and it’s not something people should attempt themselves without proper medical advice.
