Final cost of Liverpool Ferry Terminal still unclear, says Treasury

Treasury says it still cannot confirm the final cost of the Liverpool Ferry Terminal, more than a year after it opened.

Alex Allinson says there are ongoing issues to resolve, but says he couldn’t give details due to legal privilege.

He's been responding to a question in today's sitting of Tynwald.

Estimates shared in December 2024 suggested it had cost between £70-75 million pounds.

The project began in 2015 with an estimated cost of £18 million at the time.
