Beach clean group focus on the capital
The capital is the venue for the final event of the year for volunteer group Beach Buddies this morning (Sunday).
It’s meeting at the slipway opposite the bottom of Broadway in Douglas at 10.30am.
The hour-long session will focus on collecting smaller items from the beach.
Equipment and gloves are provided but volunteers should wear warm clothes and sensible footwear.
