Three people have taken their own lives since the start of this year
Three people on the Isle of Man have taken their own lives since the start of this year.
The figure was revealed by Tim Glover MHK in Tynwald recently as he reflected on the government's Island Plan, and questioned what progress has been made on the Suicide Prevention Strategy.
David Higson is the founder of Bereaved Survivors of Suicide Isle of Man - he lost his son in 2018.
He is also part of the suicide prevention strategy team, and insists a lot of positive progress is being made.
But he says the figure discussed in Tynwald highlights why the strategy is needed.
