Manx Gas & Government Protest Facebook Group to march through Douglas
The failure of government and Manx Gas to reach a new Gas Agreement by the end of 2019 is the catalyst of an upcoming protest.
Organised by Barry Murphy, the administrator of the Manx Gas and Government Protest Group, the demonstration is taking place on 18 February at 1pm, outside the Tynwald building.
Protestors will then march to Manx Gas at Murdoch House.
This will be the fifth protest over the matter, which has been ongoing since 2016.
Mr Murphy told Rhian Evans more:
Manx Gas has released the following response:
'Manx Gas always welcomes feedback from customers and we look forward to having the opportunity to talk to and listen to customers on 18 February.'
Minister for Policy and Reform Chris Thomas will issue a response later in the week.
