Local good cause to benefit from beer drinkers
Organisers of this year's CAMRA beer festival have chosen the Isle of Man Alzheimer's Society as their 'champion' local good cause.
Drinkers at the three day beer and cider festival at the Villa Marina will contribute to the charity through donations from beer sales.
The Island branch of the Campaign for Real Ale has commissioned a special festival ale from Douglas-based Hooded Ram brewery - themed to support the cause.
The festival runs from 6-8 April in the Royal Hall, where 150 real ales and more than 40 ciders, perries and fruit wines will be on offer.
Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney will arrive on an Okells double decker horse tram from Derby Castle to open the event.
