'Technical issue' causes three-hour hold up
Passengers hoping to travel to and from the Island on the Ben my Chree are being told to expect delays of up to three hours today.
The Steam Packet says the hold ups are due to a technical issue which it is hoping to resolve as soon as possible.
The Douglas to Heysham boat departed at around 8.45am this morning - with the return journey originally scheduled to leave from Heysham at 2.15pm.
Those booked on the vessel are asked to check-in as normal and the Packet says an update will be issued when engineers have assessed the situation.
