Changes to UK system cause problems
Island employers are to be asked if current immigration rules serve them well when they try to recruit workers from outside Europe.
A consultation's been launched on the points-based immigration system for foreign nationals - the route workers from outside the European Economic Area take to gain entry to the UK and the Isle of Man.
The system awards points to potential entrants in different categories or 'tiers' - which cover highly skilled workers, entrepreneurs and investors.
The Cabinet Office has pledged to review the current system and implement new rules to meet the Island's needs, by March 2018.
