Police say a contractor working on a Water and Sewerage Authority site in Kirk Michael has died.
Officers say the emergency services were called to the sire on Balleira Road in the village just after 11.30am this morning.
A 55 year old man who was working at the site died from injuries received in a work related accident.
The investigation is being led by the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate.
