Future of meat plant discussed at open meeting
A leading figure in Manx agriculture has described the Industry as being " just about at the tipping point" in being able to support the Island's Meat Plant.
Former President of the Manx National Farmers Union, Ray Craine, was speaking after a meeting on Friday on the future of the plant, which was attended by interested parties.
Mr Craine says it's hard for farmers to assess how the new set-up can help them, as its shy of detail.
