Farmers union highlights importance of countryside code

Free information signs available to farmers ahead of lambing season

The Manx National Farmers Union is offering free signs to farmers to help highlight the countryside code during lambing season.

The posters remind those walking through rural land of the importance of leaving gates as you find them, keeping dogs on leads and giving animals space.

The organisation is urging anyone who comes across lambs or calves to leave them alone, not give them food and don't touch them.
