Police concerned about underreporting of incidents each year
Plans are underway to try and strengthen the law on the Isle of Man to bring in stronger penalties for dog owners whose animals are caught worrying livestock.
The Manx National Farmers’ Union says it’s hopeful the Island’s legislation can be changed to better protect sheep and cattle.
The lambing season can be problematic for Manx farmers who also have to be on their guard from unwanted canine intruders.
