
An Island farmer says he fears for livestock trapped in fields around the middle of the Mountain Road.
Keith Kerruish's animals were being pulled both alive and dead from snow drifts yesterday which in some places were up to 15 feet deep.
More than 70 volunteers helped Mr Kerruish find his sheep, but he still can't reach some of his land because of the snow.
He says he still doesn't know how many animals he has lost:
