Winning farmers will host 'Silver Lapwing' prize giving next year
A Manx farm's recent success at a prestigious agricultural award ceremony gives other Island farmers a chance to showcase the industry here.
That's from the agri-environment officer at the Manx Wildlife Trust after the Cooil brothers won the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group's 'Silver Lapwing' award.
The coveted honour recognises the pair's efforts to support nature and wildlife at Ballagawne, and means they'll host next year's prize giving.
