Castletown facility moves out of town centre
Castletown Fire Station has completed its move out of the town centre.
All staff and equipment from the Farrants Way building - which opened in 1964 - have now been transferred to the new Fire and Ambulance Station on Ronaldsway Industrial Estate.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service say it's the beginning of 'a new era' for both emergency services.
Tynwald approved the building of two new stations, costing £1.4 million, a year ago.
