Charity says the decision to shut in July has been very hard
The family library has announced it will be closing later this year due to the increased cost of running the service and declining income.
In a statement, its directors say the organisation has reached a point where it's losing £100,000 each year and is no longer tenable.
It goes on to say the decision has been very hard, particularly in the 100th year of rural library services in the Isle of Man.
The charity's final day will be Thursday 31 July.
