Ramsey lifeboat carries out thorough search
Ramsey lifeboat braved the elements on Saturday afternoon, after reports people were in the sea.
It was launched at around midday.
After a thorough search of the area around the Queen’s Pier, it was confirmed it had been a well-intentioned false alarm.
The vessel was stood down but had to wait in the harbour for some time until weather conditions improved and she returned to the boathouse at around 3.30pm.
