More than 600 assemble at the Villa Marina
The Isle of Man was unsuccessful in its attempt to break a world record yesterday.
It had been hope the largest number of 'fairies' to assemble in one place could be achieved at a gathering in the Villa Marina gardens, with more than 800 needed.
The event had been organised by Douglas Town Centre management, in conjunction with the Children's Centre.
In the end, more than 600 showed up, with the charity's Joff Whitton breaking the bad news to them:
