Employment and Skills at Villa

Final preparations are being made for the Island's biggest annual careers fair at the Villa Marina tomorrow (9th Nov)

Employment and Skills 2017 will bring together dozens of Island employers under one roof - keen to talk about openings in areas from engineering and finance to teaching and nursing.

The event is jointly hosted by the departments of education and economic development and will also offer advice on apprenticeships, work placements and training.

It's proved an important recruiting event for many local organisations in the past - especially the public sector.

Staff running the Isle of Man Public Service Stand say at one stop, visitors can find out about a wide range of opportunities.

Employment and Skills at 2017 is at the Villa Marina from 9am until 6pm. It's open to all and free to enter.
