Manx Care changes policy in line with UK advice
Face masks are no longer required in all health and social care settings.
Manx Care has announced changes, with immediate effect, which bring the Isle of Man in line with guidance set by the UK Health Security Agency.
Masks will only be required in areas where there is contact with patients including on wards, outpatient clinics and resident and service user areas.
They are no longer needed in corridors, offices or education facilities.
Manx Care will continue to give out free masks for those who need them and Manx Care staff will themselves continue to wear masks when visiting patients at home.
