The Isle of Man Football Association says it is shocked and disappointed by the alleged incidents which took place both during, and after, Saturday's match between Laxey and St John's.
The FA has received the referee’s report from the game and will now commence disciplinary procedures in line with the approved guidelines from the English FA.
The association's statement goes on to say it will fully cooperate with police if, and when, required.
Four people have been arrested, questioned and bailed in connection with the two incidents, which led to two players requiring hospital treatment.
