Police hail importance of banning system following review
An officer from the Manx police's alcohol unit says the Pubwatch scheme plays a vital role in stopping trouble on licensed premises.
The system for banning those who misbehave in pubs, bars and cafes has recently been reviewed, tightening some practices to ensure it complies with data protection laws.
The scheme is run by the trade, with support from the Isle of Man Constabulary.
