Minister admits additional restrictions won't be popular, but safety is top priority
Not everyone will be happy the additional speed restrictions in place on some Manx roads this TT, but the most important thing is to keep all road users safe.
That's the message from the infrastructure minister after a number of temporary speed limits were introduced on roads on the course and in other areas.
So far this week, the Isle of Man Constabulary says it's stopped a number of motorists for speeding on the Douglas to Ramsey Coast Road, all of whom have been local drivers.
Tim Crookall admits the measures won't be universally popular, but that safety has to come first:
Some pubs to stay open for early-hours England match
Tynwald to revisit rates bill after the election
Douglas Council to install temporary play area in Marine Gardens
