Green Party says gas survey goes against climate change commitments
Extending the licence to look for gas off the coast of the Isle of Man would be a 'backwards step' at odds with the Island's climate change commitments.
That's according to the leader of the Isle of Man Green Party as the government considers whether to extend Crogga's survey licence, which expires later this month.
Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says sourcing gas locally would be preferable to importing the fuel.
But Andrew Langan-Newton believes this goes against the Climate Change Bill:
