Vehicle licence was five months out of date
A company from Foxdale has been fined £160 after one of its employees was caught driving a vehicle with expired tax.
St Johns Steel Services Limited, of Mines Road, admitted having no licence via coroner’s admission at Douglas Courthouse.
Police stopped the worker on 1 December last year on the New Castletown Road – the pick-up had a tax disc which had lapsed in July.
Magistrates also ordered the business to pay prosecution costs of £50.
