Workshop is public-private partnership
Plans have been unveiled for an event showing employers Island-wide how to better look after the health of their workers.
A seminar on Workplace Wellbeing has been jointly organised by the Department of Health and Social Care and the Chamber of Commerce at the Sefton Hotel on 22 November.
Speakers from on and off-Island will outline to managers and employers the benefits of fostering staff's mental and physical health - in productivity terms.
Organisers say where people feel supported, happy and engaged at work, absence and staff turnover rates fall.
A health profile of the Island's working age population will be given at the seminar, with delegates also offered an update on the Equality Act.
Online bookings open on 20 September, more details from the Public Health Directorate on 642668 or email publichealthevents.dhsc@gov.im
