
Charity aims to find new premises
A new home and improved facilities are on the horizon for the Island's hyperbaric chamber.
Health chiefs say they back the Douglas-based facility in its aim to find new premises - big enough to house two large chambers, offering scope for many more oxygen therapy treatments.
The unit currently receives an annual grant of £100,000 from the health budget and needs to raise £50,000 in donations each year.
The facility has been running for 30 years, enhancing the recovery of patients with a range of injuries and conditions, including many motorcyclists and road racers.
