Artefacts on display include gold medal awarded to Sir William Hillary
An exhibition marking the 200th anniversary of the RNLI includes a gold medal awarded to the Manx resident who founded the charity.
The organisation has loaned Sir William Hillary's medal to Manx National Heritage for the 'All At Sea' exhibition at the House of Manannan.
The event highlights the Manx roots of the lifeboat charity, as well as telling the story of some of the ships wrecked off the Island's coast.
MNH's Curator of Archaeology Alison Fox says it's an honour to have the artefact on display:
The exhibition is on until January next year, and is open daily between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
