Education minister believes modern pupils needs a more 'holistic' education setting
The education minister says the Island's schools need to adapt to the needs of students attending them today.
While she admits she wants to see standards go up, Daphne Caine has told Manx Radio excellence in education isn't just about grades.
As well as a focus on attainment, Minister Caine says support for additional needs and mental health have to be considered.
She believes modern pupils have different requirements to previous generations, and require a 'more holistic' setting:
