Call to reschedule single evening flight
Island passenger group TravelWatch is calling on easyJet to review its summer service between the Island and London Gatwick.
The airline offers fewer flights to the UK capital during July and August than during the rest of the year.
That's due to aircraft being transferred to holiday routes, and reduced demand for business trips during the school holidays.
However, on three days midweek during peak season, there will be just one flight to Gatwick, departing after 9pm.
TravelWatch says in view of the limited travel options to London, that flight should be brought forward.
Spokesman Mike Bathgate says the summer schedule offers a mixed picture:
