Event re-started after Union Mills incident
Michael Evans has won this morning's re-started Junior MGP.
The first race was red-flagged after rider Royce Rowe hit a lamppost at Union bringing it down on to the course.
He was taken to Nobles Hospital by ambulance with leg injuries.
His condition is described as stable and not causing concern at this stage.
The restart was delayed until 12.15 to allow time for the course to be cleared of debris and fuel and live wires on the damaged lamppost made safe. The event was also reduced to three laps.
Evans told Chris Kinley it had been a hard race but he was delighted to have entered the 120 plus Tommy Clucas club.
Evans also set a new lap record for the class at 120.8 mph. Darren Cooper was second and Jamie Williams, third. This afternoon's four lap Lightweight MGP will now start an hour later than scheduled at 2.15pm.
