The Calf of Man Bird Observatory is advertising itself as a 'tranquil getaway' for the TT fortnight.

Anyone looking to escape the noise of motorsport for this year's races, can swap bikes for birds by booking a stay at the Calf's bunkhouse accommodation. 

Getting to the island nature reserve, known for its birdlife and star gazing, can be organised with local boatmen. 

Overnight visitors are advised to bring their own food supplies and a sleeping bag.
