Entries open for Sovereign Art Foundation student art prize 

The winner gets £800 for themselves and £2,000 for their school 

Isle of Man students have the opportunity to showcase their work in a prestigious art competition.

The Sovereign Art Foundation Isle of Man Student Art Prize 2025 is open for entries.

A prize of £800 will be awarded to the finalist with £2,000 going to their school.

This year the winners artwork will be featured on the Islands largest billboard, will get a public exhibition and have a formal awards night in November.

Prizes this year include:

  • Judges Prize – £800 Student prize and £2000 school prize (open to all students);
  • Public Prize – £400 Student prize and £1000 school prize (open to all students);
  • Under 16s Judges Prize – £250 Student prize and £750 school prize;
  • Under 16s Public Prize – £100 Student prize and £400 school prize;
  • Simcock’s Originality Prize – £400 Student prize.

Finalists are also encouraged to offer their work for auction with 50 percent going to them and the remaining 50 going towards supporting local art therapy and education initiatives.
