Show secretary pleased to see new names on entry list
The secretary of the Royal Manx Agricultural Show says entries for this year's competition classes have been encouraging.
Carol Kennaugh says numbers are on par with previous years, despite challenging weather conditions impacting the farming community earlier this year.
This year's show, which takes place at Knockaloe Farm in Patrick on Friday and Saturday, includes a new hobby horse class for all ages.
Carol told Manx Radio it's been nice to see some new names on the entry list:
Some pubs to stay open for early-hours England match
Tynwald to revisit rates bill after the election
Douglas Council to install temporary play area in Marine Gardens
