'Informal discussions' held in London
The Minister for Enterprise has held informal discussions with the Prime Minister of the Faroe Islands in London.
Tim Johnston was attending the Faroe Islands Flag Day reception hosted by the jurisdiction's Prime Minister, Aksel Johannesen.
The two men discussed a number of the challenges facing their island nations including renewable energy, sustainable fisheries, marine management and tourism.
Both Islands share a Norse heritage, and - like Tynwald - the Faroese parliament is one of the oldest surviving parliaments in the world.
