30 sirens to sound on Saturday morning
Don’t go running for cover when you hear the Island’s emergency sirens go off today – it’s only a test.
The government says it’ll be conducting its quarterly test of the All Island Public Warning sirens at 11am on Saturday.
Thirty sirens at locations all around the Island will sound a steady note for 15 seconds.
One area will retain its weekend tranquillity however - the siren at the Dhoon won’t be sounded.
