Emergency services attending RTC near Ballasalla

Motorists are being warned of heavy traffic following a collision near Ballasalla this morning.

Police say Douglas Road is closed between Orrisdale Road and the Whitestone Roundabout following the one-vehicle incident.

Manx Radio understands the incident is near the Blackboards

The public is being asked to avoid the area while the emergency services are in attendance.

Bus Vannin says its services are diverting via Cooil Road, St Marks and the Orrisdale Road.

UPDATE AT 9.15AM:

Bus Vannin has confirmed its services have returned to normal.

Manx Radio understands the scene is now clear.
