Teams working on collapsed sewer on Empress Drive
An emergency road closure has come into effect this afternoon (26 June) along the length of Empress Drive in Douglas.
The Department of Infrastructure says the area will be closed to vehicular traffic until 6pm on 2 July.
It's to enable work to take place on a collapsed sewer.
Pedestrian and emergency access will be maintained throughout the closure.
