Post-crash simulation scenario to be staged
An emergency exercise will take place at Isle of Man Airport this weekend.
A post-crash simulation scenario is being staged on Sunday morning (27 November) to fulfil licensing requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority.
It will involve the Isle of Man Airport, the Fire and Rescue service, the Ambulance service, the Constabulary, the Coastguard, Civil Defence and the Emergency Services Joint Control Room.
Around 50 volunteers will be taking part, representing crew and passengers.
As a result, the airport will be closed to the public for several hours.
